Egg of a Common Blue (Polyommatus icarus) on the Rodderberg

If I hadn't observed and photographed the female Common Blue (Polyommatus icarus) laying her eggs, I would never have found the egg. It can be seen in the centre of the picture as a flat greenish cylinder.
