An overwintered Camberwell Beauty (Nymphalis antiopa) near Petersberg Castle (Silz/Tyrol).

The Camberwell Beauty (Nymphalis antiopa) specimen looked quite battered, there was no longer a hint of the yellow of the edges. In fact, the edge was almost transparent! However, the butterfly was able to fly perfectly, hovering on the same cut branch (willow?) every time.
