Strictly speaking, the photo was taken a few metres outside the city limits of Bonn in the Rhein-Sieg district. There were a lot of Essex Skippers (Thymelicus lineola) on the natural areas between Bonn-Auerberg and Bornheim-Hersel under an overcast sky.
